good morning starshine
Good Morning Starshine is a multimedia, participatory art installation that invites the audience into a dreamy, faux outdoor environment. The physical installation includes a sky full of white stars hanging above a tent draped with sheer fabric. Projected depictions of joys, fears, and nostalgic memories are painted onto the sides of the tent, with the residual light twinkling onto the overhead stars. Intending to welcome the playful spirit within the audience, Good Morning Starshine gives participants the opportunity to play and engage with their visual and auditory senses.
past lives
Past Lives is a plotter-rendered, exquisite corpse project intended to capture the passage of time.
This project focuses on the themes of childhood, femininity, and lives once lived. The legs depict childhood. The body depicts moving from adolescence to adulthood. The head is an adaptation of the end of life, using a worn stuffed animal to draw parallels between childhood and old age.
